IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert "Scott"
Logan
February 1, 1947 – January 7, 2025
Robert "Scott" Logan, 77, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025. He was born on February 1, 1947 in Caldwell, Idaho. He grew up living in many places but always called Florida home. He developed lifelong friendships in Nebraska, California and Florida that have remained very close to him. As a young boy he had enthusiasm for life, nature and imagination. He easily drew others into his life with adventures and his inquisitive nature to learn, explore and a zeal for life. He was drawn to music and learned to play piano as a young boy so he could get a guitar and be in a band. He wrote many songs and entertained his classmates in high school. He was the Rock Star of Homestead High School. Scott played on the football team but his great achievements were on the Track team in high school. Scott always had a story to tell that would bring laughter and joy to all. He was a loyal friend and one to come up with some youthful pranks. He was even a member of a rock band in his youth and appreciated many kinds of music as well as playing many instruments. He had a natural talent for music. He served in the Army and was very Patriot and became very passionate about our country's future.
He was a devoted and loving father to his two sons. They built a hunting cabin in the Everglades and spent many days learning to hunt and seating around the campfire and under the stars at night. There they learned about life and to enjoy nature. He taught them how to fish in the Key Largo and back country waters to Everglades and it became their life passion. Her was a good brother to his sisters Carmen and Christine and shared many happy and fond memories.
Though he lived in Florida, Arizona, and California, Scott always found his "home" at his hunting camp now in Georgia and in Florida fishing with his wife. An avid outdoorsman, he had a passion for fishing and loved to hunt with his dog, Rudy. He found love again and they were soulmates with Elizabeth (Liz) and they have been together for 34 years. They shared many memories and adventures together over the years. He was an inquisitive person throughout his life and longed to learn all that he could on any subject, Greek mythology as a young boy, all things of nature, God and religion, different cultures Native Indians and the fascination of ancient history. He shared his knowledge with others and told the stories of his adventurous life. He was quick witted, intelligent and brought laughter to all as he had a great sense of humor. He had a profound sense for life and deep love for those in his life. He was a cherished man by many and will be forever remembered to all that entered his life. There's so much more about who Scott was and that is for each of us to remember. Scott was an amazing man with great depth in his soul and a tender heart. As time went on and he grew weak the simple pleasures became playing on the beach with Rudy, Sheba and his wife.
Scott is preceded in death by his son, Carter Logan. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Logan; son, Ryon S. Logan; sister, Carmen Logan; sister, Christine Logan; granddaughter, Brooke Valdes (husband, Cito Valdes); granddaughter, Balli Logan; grandson, Brenner Logan; granddaughter, Peyton Logan; grandson, Carter Logan; great granddaughters, Angelina and Veronica; mother-in-law, Josephine Magrone; best dogs ever, Rudy and Sheba; and other extended family and friends.
