Robert W. Lester of South Daytona passed away peacefully March 9, 2021, at Halifax Hospice Care in Port Orange.

Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, he was the son of the late William Lester and the late Angela (Pepitone) Lester. Robert and his wife Patricia moved to Florida in 2004.

He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, a Rutger's University Alumni, Recording Artist, retired critical care nurse/Director of Nursing, Tennis professional, and a member of the Port Orange Horseshoe Club.

Robert was preceded in death by his twin brother, Greg, and his sister Maureen Maloney. He is survived by one sister Claire Piazza of New Jersey, and one step-brother David Gluck of Florida.

He will be cremated, but no memorial service is planned due to Covid 19.

Robert was the loving husband of Patricia Concannon-Lester for 20 years, loving father of six children, and step-father of two children, grandfather to nine grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
