Robert P. Killin 88 of Port Orange FL passed away with his loving family by his side on Sunday April 17th 2011.

Robert was born in Ironton Ohio on December 12th 1922 to the late Matthew and Minnie Shearer Killin. Following High School Robert enlisted in the Army Air Corp and served as Staff Sergeant in the Pacific Theater during WWII. Upon his return home Robert began to work as a Machinist for Carborundum retiring in 1983. In 1983 Robert and his family moved to Florida to be closer to family.

Robert was a devoted husband and loving father. He enjoyed working in the garden riding his bicycle and spending time with his family.

Those who are left to cherish Robert's memory are his beloved wife of 67 years Alma Killin of Port Orange FL daughter Pamela ( James) Pendleton of Hagerstown MD son Jeffrey ( Janet) Killin of Naples FL grandchildren Stephanie ( Richard) Marquiss Taylor (Aaron) Castoreno Kendall Killin great-grandchildren Eden Logenne Dawson and Serentiy Rose. He also leaves behind many extended family members and close friends.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Robert's memory to Hospice of Volusia/ Flagler at 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32127.
