Robert Charles Jones was born on Friday, June 26, 1942, in Scranton, PA, and passed away peacefully on Monday September 30, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Tammy (Savage) Jones, with whom he would have celebrated 43 wonderful years of marriage this coming February.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, Ann and Leonard Jones, and his sister, Charlotte Jones Grogan Carden.
Robert's memory will live on with his devoted sons, Christopher Jones (Lindsay) and Ryan Jones. His heart will forever hold a special place for his granddaughter, Arianna Jones. He is remembered fondly by his brother, Leonard Jones (Patricia) and nephews, Leonard Jones Jr. (Karen) and Robert Grogan (Nicole).
A proud graduate of West Scranton High School (1960) and a Navy veteran, Bob's professional journey led him to become a skilled draftsman, with his last role at Loral Systems in Archbald, PA. After moving to Clarks Summit, PA, and later to Florida in 1997, he embraced his new
community with open arms. Bob was a passionate bowler, boasting several 300 games, and was an enthusiastic fan of the
New York Yankees, Penn State football, and the Philadelphia Eagles. He found joy in every adventure with family and friends, whether it was his new joy of cruising to new destinations or simply sharing moments at home. Above all, Bob's unwavering faith in God and his love for the
church and family defined him. Known for his patience, kindness, and friendly demeanor, Bob will be deeply missed by all who
had the privilege to know him.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held in his honor on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace
Catholic Church, 600 South Nova Road, Ormond Beach, Florida 32174.
