Robert Hawkins 90 of Ormond Beach passed away August 11 2008. Graveside services are scheduled for Friday August 15th at 10:30 AM at Volusia Memorial Park on Nova Road in Ormond Beach. Robert was born January 26 1918 in New York served as an Engineer in the US Army and worked many years in maintenance at Homer Folks T.B. Hospital in Oneonta NY. He moved to Florida in 1995 from Otego NY and was a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Cecile his daughter Nancy Brightman of Irving TX and grandsons Sean and Kenneth Brightman also from Texas. Bob's extended family includes Mary and Jack Wolcott of Jacksonville Jim and Connie Wolcott of Raleigh NC and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren all of whom he loved very much. Friends are welcome at the Hawkins residence after the service. Memorial donations in Bob's name may be directed to Florida Hospital Hospice Care Oceanside (264 S. Atlantic Ave. Ormond Beach FL 32176). Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
