Robert Christ Geisler Sr. 93 of Daytona Beach FL peacefully passed away June 3 2012. Robert was born in Pittsburgh PA. He proudly served his country in the Army as an Air Core member during World War II achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. After military service Robert worked as a designer and manufacturer creating retail displays. He was a self made man and owned and operated his own business. Robert and Wanda his wife of 69 years retired to Daytona Beach in the 1980's.

Robert will be remembered as a kind and gentle man. He always wanted to help others. He enjoyed inventing things to solve the everyday problems he encountered. Robert had the ability to master every new technology that he encountered. He was a loving husband father grandfather and great grandfather. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Robert is survived by his dear wife Wanda; daughter Marianne Burke; daughter-in-law Stephanie Geisler; grandchildren Patrick Burke (wife Leah) Katie Burke Erne (husband Brian); great grandchildren Sean Michael and Khloe; and his sister Vera Geisler Anderson. Robert was predeceased by his son Robert C. Geisler Jr. and his sister Jean Geisler.

A private family service will be held in Illinois at a later date. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona.
