Graveside Funeral Services with Military Honors for Robert R. Eichel age 77 who passed away Saturday August 28 2010 will be Wed. September 1st at FL National Cemetery Bushnell FL. Tues. a visitation will be held August 31st from 6-9pm at Lohman Funeral Home Deland. His family will also have a Memorial Service on Friday Sept 3rd at 2:30pm at Blake Memorial Baptist Church in Lake Helen with Pastor Tony Wishon officiating. Robert was born on July 11 1933 in Camden NJ to Jacob and Beatrice Eichel. He moved to this area 27 years ago with his wife Maryellen. Robert was a wonderful husband father and provider and together they raised their five children. Robert served in the Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He loved trains his fish tanks and his dog Buddy who was a loving companion. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Maryellen his daughter Maria Cerezo (Danny) of Deland FL his four sons Robert (Barbara) of Deltona FL Eugene (Donna) of Greenville SC David (Mishelle) of Lake County FL and Keith and his fianc Cynthia Ortiz of Lake Helen FL; his four grandchildren Tiffany Lee Amy and Cookie and his two great grandchildren Paige and Danica. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Deland.
