Duquette, Robert F
Robert F. Duquette, age 71, formerly of Oxford, Connecticut and recent to the Deltona area, passed away September 3, 2015 at Central Florida Hospital. Mr. Duquette was born in Bridgeport, CT son of Francis and Margaret (Zakeski) Duquette and was a long time Oxford resident with a love of flying and of the local airport. He is survived by his wife Irene A. Duquette; his daughter Michelle Duquette-Wakeley and her husband Brian of Stockholm, NJ.; his sons Robert C. Duquette and his wife Tammy of Port St. Lucie, Fl.; Thomas M. Duquette of Fayetteville, NC,; John J. Duquette and his wife Lisa of Seymour, CT.; his sister Karen Casey and her husband Joseph of Jacksonville, FL.; eleven grandchildren Brittaney, Ashlee, Katy, Juan, Chelsea, Steven, Anita, Alexander, Robert, Paige and Madison; great-grand daughter Annabelle, his aunt Bonnie Melita of Redding, CT.; sister-in-law Rosemary Zavodjancik of Virginia and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Duquette was the primary caregiver for his loving wife Irene; the two have been married 50 years. He loved football, Green Bay Packers and the Giants and would attend his grandson's football games regularly. He loved to travel and enjoyed taking his grandchildren on trips to experience the world around them. He loved his dog Odie that would remind him of walks by bringing his leash. With an interesting sense of humor he loved to talk to anyone who would listen and chase down those that did not, he even started writing a book. Mr. Duquette was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all, he will be missed.
