Memorial services for Robert A. Dowdell age 81 of Holly Hill will be held Friday June 3rd at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home with Pastor David Schillinger officiating.
Robert was born in St. Paul Minnesota and moved to this area 19 years ago.

He was a volunteer fireman for many years in Minnesota and locally he was a member of the wood carving club in the Port Orange Community Center . Robert was also a Shriner and attended the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in South Daytona.
He passed away at the Halifax Medical Center on Saturday May 29th.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years Phyllis his son Ralph of Apple Valley Mn. his step son Michael Hartley of Bloomington Mn. his 2 step daughters Janet Pearson of Roseville Mn. and Debra Jean Pieper of Lindstrom Mn. Also surviving is his grandson Troy and 1 great grandchild. Robert was preceded in death by his son Richard.
