Robert C. Davidson or "Bob Davis" as he was known, was born March 25, 1937, in Brooklyn, NY and passed away on July 13, 2025, in Daytona Beach. He left us his way, as most know that was the only way.

Bob would like to be remembered as "Mr. Volusia County" and "The Mouth of the South" for his love of the community and the hospitality industry he worked in for over 60 years.

Bob always gave his all too many charities, including the Volusia Literacy Council, ArtHaus of Port Orange, Daytona Beach Police Foundation and the United Way along with many other community organizations he was involved in. His love of helping children and educators extended to a program he started in 2017 within the Volusia County Schools. The Adopt-A-School program was his pride and joy and currently services all but 2 schools in Volusia County.

As Bob would say, "I Did It My Way" and often recited from the Hebrew Bible, "Words that Come from the Heart, Enter the Heart."

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the incredible team of healthcare professionals who supported him over the past 2 years. Their compassion, dedication and respect brought comfort and dignity in his final chapter and we are deeply grateful for the care they provided.

Bob was preceded in death, by his wives Doloraus and Sydelle. He loved his family and leaves to cherish his memory daughters Judie (Brian) Edwards, Rita Erwin and Bob Janke; grandchildren Austin (Amanda) Edwards; Brianna Edwards and fiancé Tyler Adcock; Adam (Tara) Levandowski, niece Bonnie (Frank) Litrento; great-nephew Michael (Loren) Litrento; great-niece Nicole (Nick) Dimour and his great-grandchildren Aiden (The Mensch) and Harper Edwards. Plus, many extended family members and friends and a community whom he loved.

A public visitation and gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange, located at 1201 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange. Burial will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
