Robert Matthew Sterling, aka: "Bob", "Curley", Sterl of Daytona Beach, Florida passed away, Sunday, July 26, 2020 at AdventHealth, Daytona Beach. He was born October 6, 1937 in Peekskill, New York to Clarence and Louisa (Hatch) Sterling. He was a residential and commercial painting contractor.

Bob was a member of the Ormond Beach American Legion, FL and the the Daytona Beach VFW. Curley enjoyed: Boating, gardening, pro and college football, NASCAR, and hanging out in the garage with his buddies.

Bob is survived by his wife Judy Sterling; son, Bob Sterling Jr. and his wife, Patricia; daughter, Stacy Ferdinand and her husband, Michael; and grandchildren, Julieann, Matthew, and Lindsay as well as many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Stan.
