Robert Curtis Harper Jr. 84 passed away peacefully Tuesday Morning October 19 2011 in Daytona Beach. A celebration of Robert's life will be held at 11am Saturday October 22 2011 at the Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange chapel 1201 Dunlawton Ave. Robert was born in Richmond Va. He moved to Port Orange 22 years ago from Greenville S.C. Robert will be most remembered for the love he had for his family and life in general. He was an avid golfer one of the founding members of the Cypress Head Golf Course a longtime member of the American Chemical Society and an active supporter and alumni of William and Mary. He served in WWII in the United States Navy. Robert is survived by his loving wife Barbara of 60 years; one son Curtis Harper; and two grandchildren Lauren and Curt.
