Robert Brown Sr, 81 of Ormond Beach, FL was called home to the lord on January 8, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Haverhill, MA in 1933 and proudly served his country in the United States Navy as well as a long career at IBM. He loved to garden, watching birds, being out in nature, old movies, tinkering with computers, and was an avid Nascar Racing and football fan. Robert is survived by his Son / Best Friend Robert "Rob" Brown JR of Ormond Beach, FL; his Daughter in Law Deborah Brown R.N; his Daughter Dr. Pamela Brown of Rochester, NY; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; Sisters Patricia, Bertha, many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Sarah. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial is being held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church at 11:00am on Friday, January 16, 2015. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Haven Hospice in Memory of Robert, 1576 North Woodland Blvd. Deland, FL 32110.
