Robert "Bob" Scott, Sr. 104, of Ormond Beach, FL, died, February 19, 2015.
Funeral services with military honors will be held on Saturday, February 28th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Episcopal Church; 216 Orange Ave. Daytona Beach, FL. Full reception will follow in the church parish hall.
Robert was born March 23, 1910 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Samuel and Corrine (Knight) Scott. Bob was a member of the US Army's 7th regiment. He served in WWII in the United States and in North Africa, reaching the rank of Lt. Col. Upon leaving active duty he worked for Corn Products and retired 40 years later as VP of Sales.
After retirement for business, he became an EMT and volunteered in the Emergency Room at Ormond Memorial Hospital. He also served as President of the Auxiliary.
He is survived by his son, Robert H. Scott Jr. and his wife Sally, of Ormond Beach, his daughter, Elizabeth Scott Bobb and her husband Jeff, of Davie, FL, five grandchildren, Sheryl, Bonny, Kimberly, Shane and Nicole and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Peronne.
