A Celebration of Life for Robert Anthony ""Bob"" Sanders Sr. 65 of Ormond Beach FL will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday November 16th at Tomoka United Methodist Church Ormond Beach. Bob went to be with the Lord on Tuesday November 13 2007 while at home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Pamela; sons Robert Jr. and his wife Christine of Ormond Beach and Michael and his wife Tara of Ormond Beach; his daughter Jodi Thomas and her husband David of Birmingham AL; his brothers Joseph Roy Charles Timothy and William; his sister Marsha Dean; grandson Micah Sanders granddaughter Brandy Williams and great-granddaughter Raianna Williams.
Bob was born January 23 1942 in Lumpkin GA. He attended high school in Arlington GA. Bob played basketball on scholarship while studying at Valdosta State College in GA. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Georgia in 1966. Upon finishing school he came to Florida. He was a Pharmacist for Eckerd Drugs for over 40 years with the last 30 years at the Trails Shopping Center location. He enjoyed outdoor activities including gardening fishing boating and chasing lobsters in the Florida Keys. He loved his family and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society 3319 Maguire Blvd. Ste. 101 Orlando Fl. 32803.
