Robert "Bob" Pearson, 86, of Ormond Beach, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Florida Hospital. A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Saturday, January 25th at 2 pm at Christ Presbyterian Church, 1035 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach.

Robert served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. He graduated with a Bachelor's of Science Degree from the University of Massachusetts /Dartmouth, and went on to retire from the DuPont Co. after 33 years as a Research Chemist/Project Specialist. Once retired, Bob and his wife relocated to Cape Cod, MA from Wilmington, DE then in 1999 to Volusia County. Bob was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, where he taught Adult Sunday School. He and his wife also enjoyed traveling, together they visited 18 countries. He was an avid reader and a Boston Red Sox fan.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Elsa L. Pearson, Ormond Beach, by his brother, David Pearson, Cape Cod, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Presbyterian Church or your favorite charity.
