Robert S."Boston Bob" DelRossi 66 of Port Orange passed away Sunday June 22 2008. The family will receive friends at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange Chapel 1201 Dunlawton Avenue Port Orange on Thursday June 26 2008 from 4 pm until 8 pm. A prayer service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday June 27 2008 at 10:00 am with Deacon Tom Tagye officiating. Bob was born on July 22 1941 in Lynn MA. to Serafino DelRossi and Alice Phillips. He was a car salesman and resided in Kensington New Hampshire for many years before retiring with his wife to Port Orange. He was Catholic. Boston Bob was an avid NASCAR fan a "faithful Dale Earnhardt fan" and a photographer for the Woburn Times covering NASCAR events. Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years Linda DelRossi of Port Orange; sister Marie Clarke of Swampscott MA. 19 nieces and nephews and 12 great-nieces and nephews. Also his mother-in-law Rossi Smith of Wakefield MA. Bob is preceded in death by his father-in-law Jack Smith. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Bob's memory to the National Hemophiliac Foundation 116 W. 32rd Street 11th Floor NY NY 10001
