Robert Blodgett 87 of Port Orange passed away Friday June 12th 2009 at his home. A celebration of life will be held in the chapel of Cardwell Funeral Home 3571 S. Ridgewood Ave Port Orange Tuesday June 16th at 12:00pm. The family will receive guests from 11am-12pm. Military honors will follow the memorial service. Robert was the beloved husband of Louise Blodgett; father of Suzanne Marie Seitzberg & Marilyn Smith; son-in-law Sam Smith; grandchildren Marisa Herman (Dale) Jessica Matromauro (Keith); great-grandchildren Gage Evan & Collin. Robert served his country in the United States Air Force and was 1st Lieutenant during World War II. Robert was a fifty year member of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of the state of Missouri. He loved his flowers & was the #1 Pittsburg Steelers Fan. You were always there for all of us and we will miss you and love you eternally.
