Ritchey T. Porter 88 passed away peacefully on January 20 2012. His family will have a private memorial service to celebrate his life. He served in the 62nd Ordinance Regimental Headquarters US Army WWII and was a graduate of The Ohio State University. Mr. Porter retired to Ormond Beach after moving from Madison Wisconsin where he was Production Manager for the Oscar Mayer Company. He consulted with the International Executive Service Corps was President of the Ormond Beach Kiwanis and served on the Ormond Beach Planning Board. An avid golfer gardener and pianist Mr. Porter's greatest joy was his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Patricia and survived by three children Linda Maraniss (David) Richard Porter (Mary Ann) Carol Garner (Ty) grandchildren Andrew Sarah Tony Scott Erin Brett Carrie and Michelle and great grandchildren Reece Heidi Ava Marlee and Eliza. The family extends their gratitude to the staff of the Hospice Care Center of Port Orange and Hospice of Volusia/Flagler.
