Rita Josephine Hutchinson, 85, passed away May 8, 2015. A Funeral Mass in her honor will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 11:00am at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. The Family welcomes friends to the Visitation in the church Memorial Room an hour prior to the service.

Rita was born in Bois Jen Jer, Trinidad December 10, 1929 to Joseph and Margaret (Nicholas) Gillard. Rita moved to New York where she worked as an Administrator for the Federal Reserve. She met and married LeRoy Hutchinson, her husband of 60 years. They retired to Palm Coast in 1992. LeRoy predeceased Rita on May 2, 2012.

Rita loved her church, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. She enjoyed participating in the prayer groups. Rita also enjoyed watching sports, especially tennis.

Rita is survived by her sister Lyris McKenna and brother Frank Gilliard; by her nieces and nephews Marva Sammy, Iris Gilliard, Angela Murphy, Arlene Mason, and Anthony Ferdinand and many other family members and friends. Rita will be sadly missed by her special friends Moretta and Jim Hinson and Anna Mauge. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.
