In Loving Memory of Rita Jane Borovac

Rita Borovac, a cherished soul, passed away on the 5th of July, 2023, in Deltona, Florida after a brief fight with cancer. She was born on the 23rd of December, 1944, in Ohio. Rita will forever be remembered for her kind and compassionate nature, radiating love and generosity to all who crossed her path.

During her esteemed career, Rita served her country with great honor and distinction in the United States Civil Service. Through her dedication and unwavering commitment, she made a lasting impact and left an indelible mark on the lives of those she worked alongside.

In her leisure moments, Rita found solace in the gentle art of quilting. Her skilled hands also found joy in the art of baking, crafting delectable treats that brought comfort and happiness to those fortunate enough to taste them. Rita's tender heart extended to her feline companion, Smokie, whom she adored and nurtured with loving care.

Rita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Emil Borovac, her father, William Tischer, mother, Agnes Tischer, and several of her beloved pets including Bandit, Gypsy, and MewMew. She is survived by her loving sisters, Debra Such and Arlene Childs, as well as her devoted brothers, Russel Tischer and Charles Tischer. Rita's presence will be profoundly missed and forever cherished by her numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
