Rita Bogusky 64 of Palm Coast Florida passed away June 18 2011 at Halifax Hospital Daytona Beach FL. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 23rd from 4 pm to the Service of Reflection at 6 pm at The Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW Palm Coast FL. Rita was born in Tennessee moving to Pa. where she graduated from Easton High School. Rita moved to Daytona FL in 1985 then to Palm Coast FL. in 2008. She spent her time sewing and reading. Rita was a large supporter of the Democratic Society Humane society and local battered women's shelter. She also enjoyed spending time at the gym and going to lunch with her girls. She also spent her time playing with her dogs. Rita's love of life was intoxicating. Rita is preceded in death by her loving husband of 23 years Charles and son William Edward Smith of who was a Sergeant in the United States Army. She is survived by her son Brett Barr of Orlando FL. daughters Elizabeth Bommarito and her husband Mario of Palm Coast FL. Cindy Smith of El Paso Texas brother Charles Brown and his wife Carol of Leesburg FL. Rita was also the loving grandmother to 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
