Ricky Young age 46 of Orange City formerly of Bensenville Illinois was taken from us suddenly on Monday June 18 2012. A Homegoing service in his honor will be held on Monday June 25; 4:00 PM at the Deland Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home. The viewing will be Sunday June 26; from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. Ricky was born in McComb Mississippi to A.C. and Ella Ruth Young he dedicated his talents as a mechanic and taking care of his family. Ricky was a "grill master" who found great pleasure in entertaining fishing watching football music and spending time with children. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents A.C. & Ella Young brother's; Wayne & Willie J. Young and a sister Lilly Mae Young. He leaves behind his broken hearted wife of 21 years: Tammy Boatfield 3 children: Frank Carolynn and Ricky Lee Boatfield 8 siblings; Belinda K. Waters-Bey of Virginia Beach Virginia Chris Young of Jackson Mississippi; Kenny Young Gulf Port Mississippi; Teresa Johnson of Chicago Illinois; Mary Gilliam of Atlanta Georgia; Betty Thompson of Chicago Illinois; Robert Young of Gulf Port Mississippi and Lee Young of Detroit Michigan; a host of nieces and nephews and several loving neighborhood family and friends.
