Richard Allen Vaughn, 82, of Palm Coast, Florida and formerly of Bloomington, Illinois passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025.  He was born on November 10, 1942 in Alton, Illinois.  He was a member of the Church of God in Bloomington, Illinois where he was a Sunday School Superintendent and sang in the church choir.  When Rich wasn't working, he enjoyed to cook and fish.  In retirement he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.

Rich is survived by his loving wife, Joann Vaughn; son, Kenneth Stephen Vaughn (wife, Carol Vaughn); son, Paul Spencer Vaughn (wife, Melynda Vaughn); son, Alan Keith Matthews (wife, Kasha Matthews); son, David "Todd" Vaughn; granddaughter, Kim Marie VanWinkle-Burden; grandson, Mark Edward VanWinkle; grandson, Trey Allen VanWinkle; granddaughter, Carissa Klemaier; granddaughter, Miranda Vaughn; granddaughter, Morgan Sierra Matthews; grandson, Hayden Kenneth Matthews; grandson, Grayson Richard Matthews; granddaughter, Kelsey Marie Vaughn; granddaughter, Maggie Joe Bishop; granddaughter, Alyssa Marie Shaneman; many great grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

At a later date there will be a Memorial Service to celebrate Rich's life in Illinois.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.
