Richard Jeff Tomlin, of Ponce Inlet, Florida passed away peacefully on December 15, 2021 at the age of 80.
He was born on December 4, 1941 to the late Gizela and Jeff Tomlin in Fairview, NJ. He was one of three children; his sister, Dorothy Birkevaag, previously deceased and survived by his brother, Henry Tomlin.
He married his high school sweetheart, Jean Doris (Manocchio) Tomlin in 1962 and raised their two children in Paramus, NJ. Richard graduated from Ridgefield High School in 1959 and went on to receive his Bachelor's degree in business at St. Peter's College in Jersey City, New Jersey.
He continued his education and received his Master's degree in finance at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. He worked for American Can Company, which eventually became Dixie Paper Products, as a finance manager for 43 years and retired in 2005.
He enjoyed spending time at his Lake Wallenpaupack home in the Pocono Mountains, PA. At this dream home, he enjoyed boating, fishing, and water skiing along with his family. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Buck Hill Golf Club. He continued his love for golfing during his retirement years in Ponce Inlet, FL.
In his younger days, he was in several bowling leagues where he bowled a perfect 300 game.
His lifelong passion was to restore his 1960 Corvette and enter it into car shows and his dream did come true.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Doris (Manocchio) Tomlin and his loving children and their spouses: Scott Richard Tomlin and Dale Scheman, Pamela Jean and Dominick Luzi. As well as his beloved granddaughters: Nicole and her husband Sean, Valerie and her significant other, Charles. They more affectionately knew him as Poppy. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Margaret and her husband Rynold Lombardi, brother-in-law, Carl Birkevaag and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Port Orange chapel of Lohman Funeral Home's with Mr. Mark Spivey officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
