A Mass of Christian Burial for Richard ?Dick? J. Stith 71 Ormond by the Sea who died Sunday October 1 2006 will be held Saturday at 10 AM at Saint Brendan Roman Catholic Church with Rev. James T. Queen as Celebrant. Calling hours will be at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Friday from 2 until 8 PM. Born and raised in Rosedale IN. and formerly of New Albany IN. He is a graduate of Indiana University and Indiana State University. Retired counselor and principle of New Albany-Floyd County School System and retiree of Flagler County School System. Dick served in the Army for 2 years. He was a member of the Gold Wing Riders Association Fraternal Order of Eagles Loyal Order of the Moose and National Rifle Association. Survivors include his wife of 47 years Mary Adlynn Stumler-Stith two daughters Mary Knight and Dennis of Sellersburg IN Julie Silvestro and Steve of Ormond Beach FL three grandchildren Raffaella Gabriella and Stephen Silvestro Mother Margaret Shaw-Stith formerly of Rosedale IN Brother-in-law Adam Stumler and wife Patty of Georgetown IN Nieces Tawneelynn Pollner of Tampa FL Erica and Amber Stumler of Georgetown IN and Nephew Robert Stith of Las Angeles CA.
