“Rich” Richard H. Richter, 82, of Ormond-by-the Sea passed away Monday, May 4, 2026. He was born on January 24, 1944 in Elmont, New York. He enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR racing, but at heart, Rich was a family man. He took pride in taking care of his girls.

Rich is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Carol Richter; daughter, Jennifer Murray (husband, Daniel Murray); daughter, Denise Richter; grandson, Justin Timothy Murray; Colin Richard Murray; grandson, Brayden Patrick Murray; and granddog, Lucas Gizmo Richter; and other extended family and friends.

There will be a visitation on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 5 pm-7:30 pm at Lohman Funeral Home 733 West Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, Florida 32174.
