Obituary

Richard Eugene Quigley Sr. passed away on September 26th. He served as a Seaman First Class in the Navy during WWII on multiple vessels. His assignments included duties at the Chicago Naval Training Station as well as serving on the inaugural voyage of the U.S.S. Franklin D. Roosevelt aircraft carrier.
Richard was a machinist for General Motors in Ohio for 37 years.
He retired in 1976 to Daytona Beach Florida with his wife Velma B. Quigley his daughter Celia Massey and his 2 granddaughters Mary Jane Lewitt and Celeste Fahler. He is survived by his son Dick Quigley 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and watching sports especially Nascar and boxing.
He will always be remembered for his wit and sense of humor.
