It is with deep sadness that the family of Richard T. Kristoff 83 of Port Orange announces his passing on Wednesday November 12 2008.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday November 14 2008 at the Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange 1201 Dunlawton Avenue in Port Orange. A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday November 15 2008 at the funeral home Entombment and military honor will follow at Daytona Memorial Park.

Richard was bon in 1925 in Yonkers NY. He moved to Florida in 1978 following his retirement from General Motors Co. in Tarrytown NY. He was a proud husband father and grandfather WWII veteran of the US Army and member of UAW Union the Port Orange VFW Post 3272 and Epiphany Catholic Church. He will best be remembered for coaching Girls Softball in Port Orange Mclean Heights and E. Yonkers NY; his dedication to the City of Port Orange assisting in the development of the bike paths and his devotion to his family. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 41 years; Mary Kristoff 5 children; Stephen (Linda); Denise (Mike); Lisa (Thomas); Karen (Donny); and Stephanie (William); 2 siblings; Chris (Audree) Kristoff and Billie Nash; and 4 grandchildren; Lauren Nicholas Adrianna and Dominick.
