Richard H. Kimball (RH Kimball) 88 of Newington and Waterford CT and DeBary FL died Tuesday August 19 2008 at Halifax Hospital Port Orange FL. He was the beloved husband of 66 years to Pearl (Thompson) Kimball. Born in New Hampshire he resided many years in Newington and Waterford CT before moving to DeBary FL several years ago. Mr. Kimball was the owner of RH Kimball Construction Company Newington CT before retiring. He served in the US Army during World War II and was an active member of the community. He was a member of the Shuffle Board Club Sanford FL; he loved the water and enjoyed spending time on his cabin cruiser and fishing. In addition to his wife survivors include his son Richard A. Kimball and his wife Yvonne of New Britain CT; daughter Barbara Storey and her husband William of Marlborough CT and Port Orange FL; daughter Shirley St. Germaine of Old Saybrook CT; seven grandchildren: Sherry (John) Keogh of Marlborough CT Deborah Cumminskey of Newington CT; Brenda (Jim) Adams Colchester CT Lenny Kimball of New Britain CT; John Kimball of Brandford CT; Doug Rossitto of Southington and David Rossitto of Old Saybrook CT. He leaves 11 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a loving grandchild Richard (Ricky) Kimball. The family will receive friends in the chapel of Baggett-Summers Funeral Home today (Friday August 22 2008) between 2-4 PM at Baggett-Summers Funeral Home.
