Richard Allen Kemp 64 of Palm Coast unexpectedly passed away September 9 2012. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday October 12 2012 from 5 pm untill 7pm. A Memorial Service will be at 6 pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast Chapel. A reception will be immedietly following at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Richard was born in Boston MA. He worked as a construction engineer for the Mass Bay Transit Authority for 25 years. Richard retired to Palm Coast to be near his mother. Richard "loved life and women" and was passionate for dancing. He was an all around sportsman. He enjoyed fishing kayaking biking but was an avid tennis player and a world traveler. He was a member of the Grand Haven Tennis Club and a founding member of the Mass Bay Business Group. Richard will be remembered as a good son brother and uncle. Richard was predeceased by his father Henry Kemp. He will be sadly missed by his mother Mary Hutson of Palm Coast FL; by his sisters: Therese Small of Boston MA and Karen Sanden (Steven) of Penn Yan NY; by his beloved nephew Robert Brown of Palm Coast; by his son Erek Branch and granddaughter Ereka Branch of Tuscaloosa AL. He will be missed by many nieces nephews cousins and friends. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.
