Richard H. Harmon age 91 of Daytona Beach FL went to be with the Lord on Thursday September 27 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m on Saturday October 6 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Philip J. Egitto Pastor officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ormond Beach. The family will receive friends for a visitation at Our Lady of Lourdes between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. prior to the Funeral Mass.

Richard (Dick) was born on February 15 1921 in Windsor Vermont. He attended Green Mountain Junior College before he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served proudly during WWII. Upon his return home he finished college at Syracuse University and graduated in the class of 1950. Dick was the Executive Vice President of Northeast Operations of the Associated Coca-Cola Bottling Company. He was an avid tennis and golf player fanatical Phillies fan loving husband devoted father grandfather and friend. Dick was also an active member of Oceanside Country Club Daytona Beach Yacht Club and Rotary.

Cherishing his memory are his wife Kathleen (Kathy) Wilson Harmon Daytona Beach FL; and his children Richard T. Harmon of Orange City FL; Robert E. (Mary) Harmon of Huntington Valley PA; Patricia Harmon Lewis of Orlando FL; and JoAnn (Adam) Harmon Hitt of Towson MD; his ten grandchildren; his five great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Dick is preceded in death by his first wife Mary Cashman Harmon and his daughter Margaret Johnson Hess.
