Richard D. Gunter's Obituary
Richard D. Gunter. Sr., 59, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, surrounded by family. Rick was born April 28, 1958 in Honolulu, Hawaii, the son of Aaron Gunter and Doris Baia Mizell. He was a master carpenter by trade and enjoyed spending his free time fishing and with family. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Findley, son Richard Gunter, Jr. (Sunny), step-son Tim Webb, step-daughter Debbie Webb, his mother Doris Mizell (Don), his brother David Gunter (Susan), step-brother Joe Mizell (Mary), step-sister Donna Woods (Frank), step-brother Bruce Mizell (Marianna), and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Rick will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Tomoka Christian Church, 1450 Hand Ave., Ormond Beach, Florida, with Pastor Cord Bear officiating. Calling hours will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond, 733 W. Granada Blvd., in Ormond Beach.
