Richard E. Fuller "R.E." 87 passed away December 1 2011. A visitation in his honor will be held Monday December 5 2011 at 10:00 A.M at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. Richard's funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M and interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. He was the beloved husband of Diana Fuller for 39 beautiful years. He was the loving father of Brett Hoffman Sandra (Donald) Jewell Bonnie (Steven) Alcaide and Cindy (Randy) Veller. Richard was the beloved brother of William (Whitney Gail) Fuller and the late Ruth (James) Dunn. Richard is survived by his grandchildren; Katrine Alcaide Jessie Alcaide Chris Veller and Jessie Cheyenne Hoffman. Richard also leaves behind many loving great-grandchildren nieces nephews cousins his dog Puddin and his horse Pookie. He will be remembered fondly by his dear ex-daughter-in-law Loretta Reyes.
Richard was an avid fisherman and hunter who also enjoyed western films Native American History and camping in the Western United States. He was a proud United States Marine Veteran who served in World War II in China; in waist-deep snow. He retired from Southern Bell Communications after 37 years of dedicated employment. He was a member of the "Old Timers Club" and a lifetime member of the "Pioneers." Flowers are appreciated but donations may be made to Halifax Humane Society. Since R.E. loved to laugh and joke the family has requested anyone with a funny story to please share at his service.
