Richard "Dick" Drake 74 passed away in Daytona Beach. He was born on March 22 1933 to the late Floyd and Lorraine Drake in Sherman New York. Dick honorably served his country in the U. S. Air Force and in the U. S. Navy. After his military service he worked at his family owned golf course in New York. At one point in Dick's life he worked as a head waiter in Las Vegas. Dick thoroughly enjoyed boating and traveling and was quick to jump into a game of Blackjack. He was very sociable and loved animals especially dogs; his favorite companion being "Binkie". Dick was easily known by his carefree spirit having performed in The Daytona Opry as "Uncle Elmer".
