Obituary

Richard Booth 67 of Palm Coast Florida passed away on January 28 2012 at Florida Hospital Flagler Palm Coast. A Memorial Gathering will be held Monday February 6 2012 from 2:00 pm until the Memorial Service at 4:00 pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW Palm Coast. Richard was born and raised in Michigan. He lived in Tennessee before joining the Military. Richard served in the United States Army earning the National Defense Service Medal Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ Divince 60 Vietnam Service Medal Purple Heart with 1 Bronze Oak Leaf and numerous others. Richard also served as an Airborne Ranger in the 75th regiment. In 1971 Richard and his wife Janice moved to Florida. He became a member of the DAV and the NRA. He enjoyed going hunting and fishing and following the NASCAR circuit. Richard took flying lessons; he loved to be in the air. His number one love was his family. Richard was preceded in death by his brothers Joseph and Robert and sister Joanne. He is survived by his wife of 45years Janice of PC son Anthony Booth (Nichole) of PC daughter Melissa Castorino (Chris) of PC sisters Loretta Eva Doris Mary and Lillian. He was also the loving grandfather of 2 grandchildren Maddox and Lucas. Donations in Richards name may be made to Wounded Warrior Project 4899 Belfort Road Ste. 300
