Richard Carlysle Baldwin, 78, passed away November 3, 2013. He was born September 18, 1935, to Junior Goodwin and Violet Lucille Baldwin.
Richard served in the Army 82nd Airbourne Divison during the Korean War. In 1969, he sold his furniture business in Richmond, VA, and moved to Daytona Beach, opening an automobile sales company. Richard's infectious personality and laugh helped make him a born salesman and true friend.
Richard will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by his daughters: Julie Roseboom (Edward) of Ormond Beach, and Laurie Baldwin of South Daytona; grandchildren: Ryan and Cassie Roseboom, and Lindsey Hall (Ben) of the Daytona Beach area; great-granddaughter Madeline Grace Hall; previous wives: Ann Baldwin of Oak Hill, and Judy Gale of Port Orange.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Halifax Health Hospice of Voluisa/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL, 32127. Condolences can be shared with the family through this online guestbook.
