Richard Adams of Deland, FL. passed away on February 7, 2021 at the age of 88.  He left behind his wife of 40 years, Kay Adams and there five daughters, Diane (Paul) Bacon, Judy (John) Falcon, Carolyn (Mike) Alger, Renee (Randy) Raulerson and Kim (Bill) Underhill.  He was adored by his ten grandchildren Laurie, Melissa, Matthew, Jay, Curtis, Michael, Noah, Rylee, Kaitence and Haileigh and six great grandchildren Gia, Lilly, Katering, Nikolai, Jalen and Julien.  Richard was born in Meriden, CT. to Victor and Sophie Adams.  He moved to Florida in the late 70's and worked at Brunswick Technetics Corp. as a mechanical engineer and then in the early 90's.  He enjoyed traveling with his wife to different countries and enjoyed hosting Christmas Eve dinner, especially at the end of the evening with all the wrapping paper on the floor the kids would bury themselves and he loved watching that.  Richard was a very intelligent and creative man.  He could build and fix anything and great with electronics.  Richard was deeply loved by his family and his life will be celebrated at Life Point Community Church on February 12, 2021 at 11:00a.m.
