Rhoda Edwards 70 died October 27 2011 in her home in Port Orange FL. There will be a celebration of her life on January 13 2011 2pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange. Rhoda was born June 28 1941 in Philadelphia to Arthur (Jerry) and Sadie Kephart. Three years later Rhoda welcomed a baby brother Jerome Kephart into the family. They moved to Daytona Beach FL where Arthur worked in real estate.

Rhoda graduated from Seabreeze High School in 1959. She had a long successful working career at Heritage Federal The Mortgage Center of Volusia (1991-2001) and Mortgage One America (2001-2007). Many of the people that worked with Rhoda described her as incredibly thoughtful and caring. Her genuine concern for other people made her excellent at customer service and a very valued employee.

Her interests include gardening decorating her home shopping on QVC caring for her Dad and keeping in touch with her sister-in-laws numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She devoted much of her time since retirement to caring for her stepmother Iris Kephart and her beloved father Arthur Kephart. Rhoda also greatly loved caring for animals.

Rhoda is survived by her sister-in-law nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Sadie Kephart brother Jerry Kephart stepmother Iris Kephart and father Arthur Kephart.
