Rena E. Sevenski, 92, of Palm Coast, Florida and formerly of Medina, New York, passed away February 18, 2016. A small service will be held in Palm Coast, Fl and a celebration of her life will be in Medina, NY at the family's convenience at a later date.

Rena was born and raised in Medina. There, she met and married her husband of 61½ years, Mearl Sevenski. Rena worked in the school cafeteria of Medina schools for 17 years. She also worked on local family farms.

Rena was a faithful and very active parishioner at First Baptist of Medina. She enjoyed embroidery, crocheting and entertaining. She especially loved caring for her family. Rena was a friend to all.

Rena is survived by her children: daughter Marcia (husband Howard) Hibbard of Palm Coast, FL and son Roland (wife Tracy) Sevenski of Columbia, TN; grandchildren: Bonnie (husband Lyle) Hermann, Steve (wife Laura) Hibbard, Cortney (wife Amber) Sevenski, Tifanie (husband Joe) Noga; great-grandchildren: Aubrey, Layne, JD, London, Gabriella, and Sophia; by her brothers: Al (wife Joyce) Houseman and Dave (wife Betty) Houseman; by her brother-in-laws: John Sevenski and David Sevenski; and by her best friend Millie Knights. Rena was predeceased by her husband Mearl, by her daughter Bonnie Marie Sevenski, and by her brothers Franklin and Clayton Houseman.
