Rebecca H. "Becky" Dittmar, 92 , wife of Rabunh "Rocking Ray" Dittmar Jr. who has loved and cherished her for the last 12 years (the happiest years of his life), passed away from natural causes on May 6, 2015.

Becky was born to the late George Lesley and Lillie May Haithcock in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was the matriarch of her family at the time of her death. For over 50 years, she owned or managed beauty salons in Silver Springs, Maryland. In her early teens and early twenties, she was an above average tennis player and golfer. She and her late husband, Charles L. Klick, moved to Port Orange after retirement in 1991.

She loved sunning on Daytona's beach near Dunlawton Avenue for years, and also enjoyed hosting and attending parties until 2010. She was gorgeous, both inside and out, and had a million dollar smile, a sparkling personality, highly intelligent, a caring thoughtful feeling toward those she met, and was a strong Baptist and member of the First Baptist Church of Harbor Oaks. She was a single mom starting in 1964, and loved and took proper care of her children who later were highly successful in their chosen business or profession.

She is survived by her loving husband who between them have two sons, Dan Parks (his wife Lois) and Rabunh H. Dittmar III; two daughters, Donna Pierce and Sue Prince (her husband Jerry); 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations honoring Rebecca H. "Becky" Dittmar to either Port Orange Hospice or the First Baptist Church of Harbor Oak. A celebration of life in honor of Rebecca will be held at noon Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Port Orange Elks. Condolences may be shared with the family through this online guestbook.
