Raymond Lawrence Williams Jr, 79, of Deland, Florida, died on Monday, September 26, 2022.  He was born on January 23, 1943 in Newark, New Jersey, the son of Edna and Raymond Williams Sr.  Raymond was a proud Veteran, serving as a medic in the Army.  He later trained and worked as a plumber.  Raymond, Ray or Randy depending on when you knew him, was loved by many.  He had an easy-going disposition with a generous spirit.  He enjoyed spending time with friends and reading.  He is survived by his two children, Justin (Sarah) Williams of Bloomfield, New Youk and Maura (Garry) Rickart of Fort Collins, Colorado; 6 grandchildren, Alexandra, Hudson, and Ethan Williams, and Jack, Griffin, and Cooper Rickart; 2 sisters, Gail (Jerry) Stremick and Brenda Maccio many nieces and nephews, and dear friends.  He is pre-deceased by his parents.  Donations can be made in Raymond's memory to the Amvets Post 13, 645 New York Ave W, Deland, FL 32720.
