Raymond Henry Szulc, 90, beloved husband, father, grandfather and gpa, passed unexpectedly on January 30, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Raymond was the only child born to Henry and Kazmiera Szulc on May 8, 1931 in Greenpoint, New York. He was a high school graduate from Greenpoint, New York, and after high school Ray enlisted into the Navy, to which he spent 4 years serving, including being in the Korean War. He retired from Mobil Chemical after being there for many years. During his retired years Ray lived an amazing long life, and enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the flea market, bowling, collecting belt buckles, older model race cars, his gun collection, and making bullets, etc., on his down time.

Raymond is survived by his significant other, Hattie, her children and family; his children, Karl (Sarina) and Eric (his puppies) of  Bunnell, Fl; grandchildren, Kristy (JJ), Suzanne (William), Karl Jr. ( Keesha) of Bunnell, Fl, and Justin (Katie) and Gregory (Danielle) of Samsula, Fl; great-grandchildren,  Kazmiera, Anthony, James, Nicki, KyraLynn, Jayadel, Brandon, Kaylee, Makhhia, Karl III, Anola, Rylynn, Aubrey, and Georgianna.

Raymond is predeceased by his late wife Beth Szulc, his mother Kazmiera Szulc, and his father Henry Szulc.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 10, 2022, in Daytona Memorial Park, 1428 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32114.
