Raymond G. Reed Jr. 74 of Port Orange entered into eternal rest at 2:50 p.m. Sunday January 18 2009. At the Sterling House of Port Orange.
Services will be Thursday January 22 at 5pm at the Lohman Funeral Home in Port Orange. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 pm to 5 pm before the service. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Alzheimer's Association 225 N. Michigan Ave. Fl 17 Chicago Il 60601.
Raymond was born on December 11 1934 in Andover Mass. the son of Raymond G. and Mary (Rennie) Reed Sr.
Ray served his time in the United States Air Force protecting our country and on May 27 1956 he was united in marriage to Nancy White. Raymond was employed in the Aerospace program as a Electrical Engineer.
Survivors include his loving wife Nancy of fifty two years; daughter: Debra Reed of Longwood Fl. Mary Ann (Joseph) Satkowiak of Livonia Mich; grandchildren: Megan Danielle Heather Travis and Tyler.
Raymond has preceded in death by his parents one son : Scott R. Reed and one brother George Reed.
