Raymond "Ray" Coury, 88, of Ormond Beach, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. The visitation for Ray will be held on Friday, August 14, between the hours of 5-7 p.m., with services celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 15, at Lohman Funeral Home, 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach.
Raymond was born January 3, 1927 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Richard and Najla Coury. He and his wife, Martha, relocated to Ormond Beach in 2009 from Cedar Grove, NJ. He was Catholic, a WW II veteran in the US Army, a gentleman that had no regrets. He loved life, old movies, and animals, especially Paco, Harley, and Corona. Raymond also enjoyed the Casinos.
He leaves his loving wife of 52 years Martha W. Coury, of Ormond Beach; his son, Richard A. Coury of Fountain Inn, SC; a daughter, Alessandra L. Edwards and her husband, Ferdinand; as well as his granddaughter, Bella Angelina Edwards of Riverdale, New Jersey.
Raymond will be missed for his generosity, love and dedication to his family and friends. Arrangements are under the careful care of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. Condolences for the family may be shared through this online guestbook.
