Raymond A. Parent 69 passed away October 28 2009. He was born on May 27 1940 in Fall River MA. Raymond worked for many years at Ann Dale Cookies and 23 years as a forklift operator at Globe Manufacturing both located in Fall River. He retired in 1999 and in 2000 he and his best friend and loving wife Susanne to whom he was married 38 years relocated to Ormond Beach FL. Raymond was an avid bowler and was a member of the Holiday Village bowling league bowling every Friday at Ormond Lanes. He also bowled each Monday for colored pins. In his spare time he enjoyed yard work and watching NASCAR Patriots football and Red Sox baseball. Raymond enjoyed cooking and always looked forward to a good meal! When asked how he will be remembered his friends and family stated "everyone loves Raymond". He had a wonderful sense of humor an easy-going nature and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Susanne; sisters Cecile (Al) Tavares and Lorraine (Bob) Morrissette; brothers Robert "Mickey" Parent and Omer "Sonny" (Joanne) Parent; niece Patricia "Poopsie" Demers and great nieces Katelyn Demers and Kerrie McFeeters. He was predeceased by his brother Jerry and sister Jeannette. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Florida Hospital Hospice 264 S. Atlantic Avenue Ormond Beach FL 32174 who was truly wonderful during this time of need.
