Raymond Thomas Harrell 66 of South Daytona passed away November 6 2011. A memorial service is being held on Thursday November 10 2011 at 6:00 pm at the Cardwell Funeral Home Port Orange FL. The family will receive friends starting at 5:00pm. Raymond Harrell was born in 1944 in Rhode Island to the late William Harrell and Mary Wilde Harrell. He was in the Marine Corps and was an owner of a wholesale meat business until retirement. You could say he was truly a handyman. There was nothing Raymond could not build or fix. Raymond had a love for Harley motorcycles and painting creativity was a blessing that he was given. Surviving family members left to cherish their memories are: his loving wife Priscilla Bell Harrell; mother Mary Harrell of RI; son Michael (Tina) Ayers of RI; daughter Jennifer (Jeff) Cushman of RI; five grand children Christina Matthews Nicholas Matthews Michaela Ayers Teala-Marie Haney and Joshua Cushman; and sister Patricia Silva of NC. Raymond is also survived by his two loving cats Larry and Samantha several nieces and nephews and loving friends. Raymond's father William and sister Carolyn Gosselin have preceded him in death. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him. Arrangements are under the careful direction Cardwell Funeral Home.
