It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Randy ""Red"" Allman (57) on May 22 2007 at Randall Malcolm Veterans Center in Gainesville Florida. Randy grew up in Cedar Lake Indiana. He entered the Navy in 1967 earning a Purple Heart during his tour in Vietnam. Randy was a patrolman and a volunteer fireman in Steger Illinois before he and his family moved to Port Orange in 1988. He worked as a finance manager in the automotive business. Randy served as Mayor of the City of Edgewater from 1997-1999. Randy will be lovingly remembered by his wife Barbara and their seven children. And sadly missed by his sisters Sue Sergent Edie Cleamons and Vicki Wernes and six grandsons.
