Ramiro Jesus Beja 89 of Palm Coast Florida passed away on October 4 2012 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House Palm Coast. Visitation will be held Monday October 8 2012 from 4 pm until 8 pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW Palm Coast. A Visitation will also be held Tuesday October 9 2012 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian burial. Ramiro was born and raised in Portugal moving to NY in 1966 where he was employed for many years as a construction worker. He had a passion for creating things whether it was out of brick cement or stone. Ramiro also enjoyed spending his time tending to his garden. He grew fruits vegetables and flowers in NY Portugal and then here when he relocated to Palm Coast a little over three years ago. Ramiro was preceded in death by his parents his beloved wife of 49 years Julieta seven years ago son Mario in 2007 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his sons Raul Beja of NY Americo Beja (Ester) of NY Augostino Beja (Leonore) of NY Augusto Beja (Elisa) of Portugal and daughter Maria Coito (Rui) of Palm Coast. Ramiro was also the loving grandfather of his 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Donations in Ramiro's name may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O.
