Ralph Frederick Giachetti 58 of Palm Coast Florida passed away on January 14 2012 at the FL Hospital Flagler. Visitation will be held on January 20 2012 from 2:00 pm until the Mass of Christian Burial at 4:00 pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Pkwy SW Palm Coast. Ralph was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio. He worked for many years as a Heat Treater for the Modern Tool and Dye Company located in Cleveland Ohio. In 2005 Ralph moved from Cleveland Ohio to Palm Coast Florida. He was employed for Wal-Mart until his retirement just 3 short months ago. Although Ralph lived in Florida he was still an avid Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians fan. He was often seen wearing his Jersey and always wearing his baseball caps. Ralph will be remembered for his loving and caring ways and of course his sense of humor. While working at Wall-Mart Ralph was awarded the Act of Heroism Award on 3/3/2007 and the Firefighter Hero Award for distinguishing a fire inside the store. Ralph was preceded in death by his only son Jason Giachetti on March 5 2004 and sister Linda Phillips. He is survived by his beloved daughter Nichole Giachetti - Spehar and her husband Scott of Palm Coast FL. Ralph was also the loving grandfather to three grandchildren Thomas Desiree and Nicholas. He also leaves behind niece Tifanie Leude and her husband Glenn and their children Alexandria and Giovanie all of Cleveland Ohio and the mother of Ralph's children Theresa Muckley of Palm Coast FL.
